Artist Campaign Policy
Authoritative rules governing campaign creation, review, approval, funding, management, verification, settlement, cancellation, and enforcement.
1. Purpose
The StrmFarm Artist Campaign system enables verified artists and authorized rights holders to promote eligible music releases by creating structured campaigns that reward authentic listener participation.
This Policy establishes the rules governing campaign creation, review, approval, funding, management, verification, settlement, cancellation, and enforcement.
Its purpose is to ensure campaigns operate fairly while protecting artists, listeners, rights holders, and the integrity of the StrmFarm ecosystem.
This Policy should be read together with the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Verification Framework, Fraud & Platform Integrity Policy, DSP Playback Policy, Copyright Policy, and all other applicable StrmFarm policies.
2. Campaign Eligibility
Only eligible users may create campaigns.
Campaign creation is currently available to:
- Verified artists.
- Authorized representatives acting on behalf of verified artists.
- Approved record labels managing verified artist profiles.
- Other authorized rights holders approved by StrmFarm.
Every campaign must be associated with music that the campaign creator has the legal authority to promote.
StrmFarm may request documentation to verify ownership, authorization, distribution rights, or other supporting information before approving or maintaining campaign access.
Providing false information during eligibility verification may result in campaign rejection, account suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.
3. Supported Campaign Types
At launch, StrmFarm supports campaigns for:
- Individual Tracks.
- Albums.
Future platform updates may introduce additional campaign types, including but not limited to:
- Artist campaigns.
- Playlist campaigns.
- Fan community campaigns.
- Live event campaigns.
- Merchandise campaigns.
- Promotional initiatives.
- Other campaign formats introduced by StrmFarm.
Unless otherwise stated, this Policy applies to all campaign types offered on the platform.
4. Campaign Lifecycle
Every campaign progresses through a structured lifecycle designed to ensure quality, fairness, and platform integrity.
Campaign states include:
- Draft
- Submitted
- Under Review
- Approved
- Scheduled
- Active
- Paused
- Completed
- Canceled
- Archived
Campaigns may transition between these states depending on platform review, artist actions, verification outcomes, policy compliance, or operational requirements.
Certain lifecycle transitions may only be performed by StrmFarm administrators.
5. Campaign Funding & Budget
Campaigns must be funded before activation.
During the beta phase, campaign budgets are denominated in STRM Points.
Future platform updates may support campaign funding through additional payment methods, including digital assets, fiat currency, or other approved payment mechanisms.
Campaign funding may be converted into STRM according to platform rules at the time of purchase.
StrmFarm establishes minimum platform funding requirements and minimum reward rates applicable to campaigns. Artists may increase campaign budgets above these minimums but may not reduce campaign rewards after a campaign becomes active.
Campaign budgets are reserved for campaign execution, eligible reward distribution, applicable platform fees, and other authorized campaign-related purposes.
6. Campaign Submission & Review
Every submitted campaign undergoes review before approval.
Campaign review may evaluate factors including:
- Rights ownership.
- Copyright compliance.
- Metadata accuracy.
- Technical readiness.
- Fraud indicators.
- Content quality.
- Platform policy compliance.
- Legal requirements.
- Budget validity.
- Other operational or safety considerations.
Approval is not automatic.
StrmFarm reserves the right to request additional information before approving a campaign.
Campaign review does not guarantee future campaign approval or ongoing eligibility.
7. Campaign Requirements
Campaign creators are responsible for ensuring submitted campaigns remain accurate throughout the campaign lifecycle.
Campaign information should accurately reflect:
- Track or album information.
- Artist information.
- Distribution rights.
- Promotional intent.
- Campaign objectives.
Campaign creators must ensure that submitted content complies with all applicable laws, licensing obligations, DSP requirements, and StrmFarm policies.
Campaigns may not contain misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, or unlawful information.
8. Campaign Modifications & Cancellation
Campaigns may be modified only within limits established by StrmFarm.
After activation:
- Campaign budgets may be increased.
- Campaign reward allocations may be increased.
- Campaign duration generally cannot be shortened or modified.
- Reward rates may not be reduced.
- Certain campaign settings may become locked to protect participants.
Campaign creators may request cancellation of an active campaign.
Upon cancellation:
- New rewards immediately stop accumulating.
- Previously verified eligible activity remains payable.
- Remaining unused campaign balances may be refunded.
- Applicable cancellation fees or penalties may be deducted.
Cancellation does not invalidate rewards already earned through successfully verified participation.
9. Verification & Reward Eligibility
Campaign participation alone does not generate rewards.
Rewards are issued only after listener activity successfully satisfies StrmFarm’s verification requirements.
Verification considers multiple integrity signals designed to identify authentic participation while protecting the platform against fraud and abuse.
Verification methodologies are confidential and may change over time without prior notice.
Failure to satisfy verification requirements may result in activity being excluded from campaign reward calculations.
10. Campaign Integrity & Fraud Prevention
Campaign creators may not attempt to manipulate campaign performance.
Prohibited conduct includes:
- Purchasing fake streams.
- Coordinated stream manipulation.
- Automated participation.
- Artificial listener generation.
- Reward abuse.
- Verification circumvention.
- Multiple-account manipulation.
- Misrepresentation of campaign performance.
- Encouraging users to bypass verification requirements.
StrmFarm continuously monitors campaign activity for integrity and reserves the right to pause, investigate, suspend, or permanently remove campaigns that exhibit suspicious behavior.
Campaign creators remain responsible for fraudulent activity conducted on their behalf by agents, partners, contractors, or third parties.
11. Discovery & Recommendation Independence
Campaigns are independent from StrmFarm’s recommendation and discovery systems.
Participation in a campaign does not guarantee:
- Discovery placement.
- Trending placement.
- Recommendation ranking.
- Editorial selection.
- Search visibility.
- Streams.
- Followers.
- Saves.
- Playlist additions.
- Commercial success.
Campaigns create opportunities for authentic listener participation but do not purchase algorithmic promotion or guaranteed exposure.
Recommendation systems continue to operate independently based on their own ranking methodologies and user relevance signals.
12. Settlement, Refunds & Treasury
Campaign rewards are settled only after successful verification.
Eligible rewards are distributed according to platform rules applicable at the time of verification.
When campaigns conclude:
- Verified rewards are settled.
- Remaining eligible balances may be returned to the campaign creator.
- Platform fees, cancellation fees, or other authorized deductions may be applied where appropriate.
Campaign financial records may be retained for auditing, legal compliance, fraud investigations, accounting, taxation, dispute resolution, and operational purposes.
13. Suspension, Removal & Enforcement
StrmFarm may reject, suspend, pause, terminate, or permanently remove campaigns where necessary to protect the platform.
Reasons may include:
- Fraud.
- Copyright disputes.
- Rights ownership conflicts.
- Policy violations.
- Abuse history.
- False information.
- Security concerns.
- Technical issues.
- Legal obligations.
- Platform integrity concerns.
Depending on the severity of the violation, enforcement may also include:
- Artist verification removal.
- Campaign privilege suspension.
- Account suspension.
- Permanent account termination.
- Reward forfeiture where permitted by applicable policies.
14. Future Platform Development
The Artist Campaign system will continue evolving.
Future capabilities may include:

Where appropriate, users may be notified through the application, website, email, or other official communication channels before material changes become effective.
