StrmFarm is a music discovery platform that helps listeners discover artists through verified engagement experiences. Users may connect supported digital streaming services (“DSPs”), discover music, participate in platform experiences, and interact with artist campaigns available through the platform.

This Privacy Policy explains how StrmFarm collects, uses, stores, protects, and processes information when you use our websites, mobile applications, services, and related platform features (collectively, the “Services”).

Your privacy is important to us. We are committed to being transparent about the information we collect, why we collect it, and how that information is used to operate, secure, and improve the StrmFarm platform.

By creating an account or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

The StrmFarm mobile application.
The StrmFarm website and waitlist pages.
User accounts and profile services.
Artist and campaign participation features.
Supported DSP connection features.
Playback verification and platform integrity systems.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services, websites, applications, or digital streaming providers that may be connected to StrmFarm. Your use of third-party services remains subject to their own terms, policies, and privacy practices.

DSP Services

StrmFarm is not a music streaming service. StrmFarm does not host, distribute, or license music content for playback.

Music playback available through StrmFarm occurs through supported third-party digital streaming providers, including services such as Spotify, Apple Music, and other supported providers in accordance with our DSP Playback Policy.

Your relationship with those providers, including any subscription requirements, payment obligations, or account management responsibilities, remains governed by the terms and privacy policies of the applicable provider.

Age Requirement

StrmFarm is intended only for individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age. By creating an account or using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years old. Individuals under the age of eighteen (18) are not permitted to create accounts or use the Services.

Section 2: Information We Collect

To operate the Services, maintain platform integrity, verify engagement activity, and provide account functionality, StrmFarm may collect the following categories of information.

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect:

Email address
Username
Encrypted or hashed authentication credentials
Account creation metadata
Account status information

This information is used to establish and maintain your StrmFarm account.

2.2 Profile Information

You may choose to provide certain profile information, including:

Display name
Profile image
Profile preferences
Account settings

Providing profile information is generally optional unless specifically required for a feature.

2.3 DSP Connection Information

When you connect a supported digital streaming provider (“DSP”), StrmFarm may collect and process information necessary to establish and maintain that connection in accordance with our DSP Playback Policy. This includes connected provider identifier, connection status, authorization status, and provider account metadata made available through official APIs. StrmFarm does not collect or store your streaming provider password.

2.4 Playback Verification Information

To operate engagement verification systems and maintain platform integrity, StrmFarm may process information related to listening activity performed through supported DSP integrations in accordance with our Verification Framework.

This may include:

Session identifiers
Playback session metadata
Track, artist, and album identifiers
Playback progression information
Verification events & campaign participation signals

2.5 Security & Integrity Information

To protect users, artists, campaigns, and platform systems, StrmFarm may process certain technical and security-related information (connection info, network integrity signals, authentication events, device security signals, fraud indicators) in accordance with our Security Policy and Fraud Policy.

2.6 Support Communications

If you contact StrmFarm for assistance, feedback, bug reports, or support requests, we may collect information included in those communications.

Section 3: How We Use Information

StrmFarm uses information collected through the Services to operate, maintain, secure, improve, and support the platform.

3.1 Account Management & Platform Operations

We use information to create and authenticate user accounts, deliver platform functionality, operate discovery experiences, maintain user profiles, support artist campaigns governed by our Artist Campaign Policy, and enable DSP integrations.

3.2 Playback Verification & Integrity

We use information to verify engagement activity, maintain platform integrity, detect invalid activity, and generate platform insights in accordance with our Verification Framework and STRM Points Policy. StrmFarm may use automated systems to evaluate engagement activity for integrity and fraud-prevention purposes.

3.3 Security & Fraud Prevention

We use information to detect unauthorized activity, prevent abuse, protect user accounts, enforce platform rules, and investigate suspicious behavior under our Fraud Policy.

3.4 Communications & Legal Compliance

We use information to respond to support requests, send security notifications, comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and resolve disputes.

Section 4: DSP Connections

StrmFarm allows users to connect supported third-party digital streaming providers (“DSPs”) to enable platform functionality governed by our DSP Playback Policy.

4.1 Connected Provider Information & Authentication

When you connect a DSP account, StrmFarm receives authorized API metadata (account identifiers, subscription eligibility status, connection status, authorization tokens). DSP connections are managed through provider authentication systems; StrmFarm never collects or stores your DSP password.

4.2 Third-Party Services & Subscription Requirements

Your use of any connected DSP remains subject to that provider's own terms and policies. Verified playback functionality require an active qualifying Premium subscription with a supported DSP.

4.3 Regional Information

To support localized experiences, recommendations, and compliance, StrmFarm may process region-related information (country, region, jurisdiction, language preferences).

Section 5: Playback Verification & Platform Integrity

Maintaining the integrity of engagement activity across the platform is a core objective.

5.1 Verification Systems & Session Processing

StrmFarm processes playback-related information (session IDs, track IDs, progression events, integrity signals) to verify engagement activity and maintain ranking accuracy in accordance with our Verification Framework.

5.2 Fraud Prevention & Automated Integrity Systems

StrmFarm processes information to identify artificial engagement, bot activity, manipulation attempts, and fraudulent behavior governed by our Fraud Policy. Automated systems evaluate activity without publicly disclosing confidential detection thresholds.

Section 6: Security & Abuse Prevention

6.1 Account Security & Safeguards

StrmFarm implements technical and operational safeguards to protect user accounts, detect unauthorized access attempts, and maintain authentication integrity governed by our Security Policy.

6.2 Fraud Prevention & Security Monitoring

To protect platform integrity, StrmFarm monitors platform activity for security threats, unauthorized access, and fraud indicators under our Fraud Policy.

Section 7: Analytics & Product Improvement

StrmFarm uses operational analytics, diagnostics, monitoring tools, and service metrics to maintain platform health, improve recommendation quality, and enhance application performance. StrmFarm does not sell personal information to data brokers or advertising networks.

StrmFarm does not sell personal information to data brokers or third parties for marketing purposes. Information may be shared only under limited circumstances:

Service Providers: Cloud hosting, database hosting, email delivery, error monitoring, and customer support.
Connected DSP Providers: API exchanges necessary to enable authorized integrations governed by our DSP Playback Policy.
Legal Compliance & Business Transfers: Disclosures required by law, court orders, or corporate restructurings.
Platform Integrity: Internal sharing to detect fraud and protect artist campaigns under our Fraud Policy.

Section 9: Data Retention

StrmFarm retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Services, satisfy legal obligations, protect platform integrity, resolve disputes, and maintain security in accordance with our Data Retention Policy.

Section 10: User Rights & Choices

10.1 Access, Account Management & Deletion

Users may access and update username, profile info, and connected DSP settings inside app settings. Users may request account deletion through settings, purging or anonymizing personal profile records subject to retention obligations in our Data Retention Policy.

10.2 Communications & Data Rights

Users may manage optional communication preferences. Essential security communications cannot be opted out of. For data rights requests, contact support@strmfarm.com.

Section 11: Age Requirement & Children’s Privacy

StrmFarm is intended solely for individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older. StrmFarm does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under eighteen.
